Seeing is believing. It matters all the more when it comes to tracking the performance of your proximity marketing campaigns. This September, we have introduced some new features that will help you visualise and measure marketing campaigns.
Track Performance through Notifications and Distribution Charts
Eddy Kit customers can now track Physical Web and Nearby Notifications through the Notifications chart inside Analytics. Using the chart you can see how many visitors received notifications and clicked on it to view Cards, Forms, or external links.
Notifications along with other charts, i.e., Distribution and Growth can be filtered by time and place as well as sorted by count. For instance, the following chart shows how various landing pages have performed over a given week at a given location:
Additionally, you can download the data for all the three charts — Notifications, Distribution, and Growth — in a CSV file. Such CSV files can be easily imported to tools such as Google Sheets and shared across teams.
Create and Assign Multiple Cards to various Beacons
As an Eddy Kit user, you can now create multiple cards and assign them to various beacons. With this feature you can point a beacon to different cards at different time intervals on the fly. For instance, you can point a beacon to a regular card during weekdays and a special offer card on weekends.
It is important to note that Eddy URLs are now updated to eddy(dot)pro. This is to make URLs easy to read as they are really short, secure, and optimised for faster content delivery on mobile devices.
Upgrade from Beaconstac to Eddy
As a Beaconstac customer, you can now upgrade to Eddy for a one month trial for free and send proximity-based messages to visitors via the Google Chrome app. Simply select the beacon that you wish to migrate from Beaconstac app and tap on the ‘Update to Eddy’ button.
Post-upgrade, you will get access to a separate dashboard that you can easily switch to by clicking on the ‘Switch to Eddy’ button on the navigation bar.
