    As I got a newsletter where this note was mentioned and I now see it’s from 2016: Do you have any new insights regarding Eddystone? I recently read that almost all installed beacons are still for iBeacon rather than Eddystone, and iOS users obviously prefers Safari instead of Chrome (most might not even be aware Chrome exists), and I believe for both Android and iOS you still need to set Chrome to look for Eddystone-URL beacons, so I doubt that the “area of darkness” is just 50%. What have you seen in practical deployments?
